Good and timely piece Alberto! You cover a lot of ground here and don’t know where to start but of course agree on the need of critical thinking in times like these. Further, I have the impression that most of the progress has been done little by little in obscure labs until things became practical and then they seem to be appearing from nowhere as an overnight sensation, coming from years in the making.
